Classic 1988 Chris Barron solo live recordings
November 7th, 1988, Nightingale Bar, New York, NY
December 1st, 1988, Speakeasy, New York, NY

Listen to some really classic recordings of Chris Barron doing solo sets on Blues Traveler shows back in 1988. Here's what Dave Mallick of bluestraveler.net who provided the following mp3s wrote about these recordings: "a taper recently approached me wanting to circulate some Blues Traveler shows from late 1988/early 1989. This was back when Chris played solo between sets of BT's shows, and sure enough, there are two brief sets of his music, the first that I'm aware of from his pre-Spin Doctors days. The reason I'm posting this now is because today is the 18th anniversary of the first of the two shows - 11/7/88 at the Nightingale Bar. Chris played ten songs, clocking in at a little over 36 minutes. The second show is only three songs and 12 minutes long, from 12/1/88 at the Speakeasy in NYC."
Read more about Dave's "18th Anniversary Project" at bluestraveler.net. Thanks to Dave for making the files available.
